![]() Emily was able to combine her prior experience with general wellness helping women achieve their health goals. In 2018, she transitioned to a family practice and urgent care clinic in Austin. She completed her Master’s degree with Family Nurse Practitioner certification from South University in 2017.Īs an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Emily began her career in Lubbock with a small functional medicine and hormone clinic. Prior to completion of her graduate school, Emily worked as a registered nurse in a county labor and delivery unit, a private gynecology clinic, and on a rural post-partum floor. Prior to that, she worked in a gynecology practice for six years. Before joining our team here at Helio Health & Wellness, Brittany was a long-standing member of the Renaissance Women’s Group. After losing her Mom to ovarian cancer, Brittany became more determined to care for women’s needs and work in a practice where she could truly make a difference. While at University of Pan American, she was the recipient of the 2006 JCAPAS Clinical Excellence Award.Īs someone with a family history of breast and ovarian cancer, Brittany has a special love for women’s healthcare. From there, she relocated to Edinburg, Texas and remained there for two years until graduating with her Physician Assistant Degree in 2006. In her last semester at Concordia, Brittany was accepted into the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Texas Pan American. After completing her schooling, she returned to the Austin area and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Concordia University in 2004.
